17th Mar - With a little help from my friends

Amazingly, with little or no hangovers, we all trooped up to the allotment to appraise my work from the day before. I was still sad that there was a small pile of bark still to be shipped into place. Jez, very chivalrously offered to barrow the rest for me. Of course that meant that Si helped and they can up with some cunning plan on how to move the biggest amount possible in one go. I left them to it and before I knew it they'd shifted the lot and infill the back end of the plot.

In the meantime, I planted 16 pototoes which I've been desperate to do for a while. Everything takes 5 times as long as you expect and this was a well overdue job that I'm pleased to have completed. Thanks Kerry's little helpers, it's all starting to take shape x
